– Dairy Market, Charlottesville’s premier food hall, is thrilled to announce the arrival of an exciting new vendor. Relay Active, an innovative athletic apparel and yoga studio, will be setting up shop in the former Brigid & Bess retail space.

Relay Active, owned and founded by Ann Mazur, brings a unique blend of high-quality activewear and rejuvenating yoga sessions, making it a perfect fit for the active and wellness-focused community of Charlottesville. As a destination that caters to a variety of interests, Dairy Market is proud to expand its offerings with a vendor that embodies the spirit of health, fitness, and holistic well-being.

Relay Active grew out of Ann's first business Runners Love Yoga, the mission of which is to help runners and athletes through yoga designed specifically for them. Ann has taught yoga locally for more than 15 years, to a range of students including runners and non-runners alike, both locally at UVa as well as online at runnersloveyoga.tv. She credits yoga both with enabling her to qualify for the Olympic Trials Marathon and in aiding her during the process of earning her Ph.D. in English from UVa. Ann specializes in teaching creative vinyasa and yin yoga styles and is excited to finally have a dedicated and beautiful studio space to teach yoga to the Charlottesville community at large. Additionally, Ann is the lead activewear designer and runs all of the day-to-day operations of Relay Active, making Relay Active a one hundred percent woman owned brand, grown from the ground up with no outside investors and with hard work and dedication to making beautiful garments.

Relay Active specializes in running and yoga apparel and athleisure, and is best known for their phone pocket bras, no-pinch waistbands, limited edition performance tie-dye, and matching sets. They also proudly give 1% of all activewear sales to animal rescue.
